Festival of Football
Join us for a virtual evening of football fun, all to raise funds for Onda Solidária. Test your knowledge of the beautiful game with our football quiz, get moving with a Brazilian/UK fitness class and go behind-the-scenes with a live stream from Vila dos Sonhos - Onda Solidária's Village of Dreams.
Tickets for the event are available with a donation. Each ticket allows access to all events in the programme via Zoom.
The Festival of Football is run in collaboration with Bournemouth University MSc Events Management students.

FOOTBALL QUIZ
Put your football knowledge to the test in our fun quiz all about the beautiful game, with a £20 online voucher up for grabs for the winning team/player.
LIVE CAPOEIRA & FITNESS CLASS
Take part in an engaging 45minute fitness class combining Capoeira martials arts with HIIT exercises from the UK and Brazil.
PRIZE RAFFLE
Every participant will be entered into a free prize draw on the night to win a £20 online voucher and official Fluminense F.C. shirt.
What are we fundraising for?
The Solidarity Lodge at Vila dos Sonhos
Vila dos Sonhos - the Village of Dreams - is Onda Solidária's Eco Social Centre in Brazil. It is an educational and sports training centre that aims to provide vulnerable children and young people the opportunity to develop their personal skills, learn how to live a sustainable life and provide a model for inspiring social action across Brazil and the world.
The new Solidarity Lodge will host children, youth, volunteers and guests from all over the world in Vila dos Sonhos and provide a calming space for people to live in harmony with nature.
Proceeds from the Festival of Football will help Onda Solidária to complete building of the Solidarity Lodge.

The lodge will have an environmentally friendly sewage system, use alternative energy and provide access to clean water from protected springs in the reforested area of the Vila.
At this point, the concrete foundation of the Solidarity Lodge has already been built, plastering has begun, and the installation of windows and doors will start soon. Due to the constantly changing situation of the pandemic and the frequent readjustment of material prices, constant negotiations with shops and companies are necessary to guarantee good prices for materials.
